Dumbest Criminals - The Clean-Up Crew
In the bustling city of New York, two criminals, Larry and Fred, believed they were the next big thing in the criminal world. They thought they had devised the perfect plan to rob a bank.
Larry, being the "brains" of the operation, had seen in a movie how bank robbers used a tunnel to get into the bank. Inspired, he convinced Fred to dig a tunnel from a nearby sewer right into the bank's vault. They spent weeks digging, using stolen construction equipment and working only during the night to avoid detection.
Finally, the day of the heist arrived. Larry and Fred, covered in grime and dirt, crawled through their makeshift tunnel, their hearts pounding with anticipation. They emerged, expecting to see stacks of cash and gold. However, they found themselves surrounded by detergent, mops, and cleaning supplies. In his calculations, Larry had made a grave error. They had burrowed right into the bank's janitorial closet.
As they stood there, bewildered and covered in filth, the bank's cleaning staff walked in for their morning shift. They found Larry and Fred standing amidst cleaning supplies, looking utterly defeated. The staff held them there until the police arrived.
When the news broke, Larry and Fred became a laughingstock. "The Clean-Up Crew," as they were humorously dubbed by the media, served as a stark reminder that crime and stupidity were never a good mix. Their misadventure turned into a tale of comic relief for the city, retold with a chuckle and a shake of the head at their foolishness.
